A New Love

Your love to me is like the sea

As it washes upon the shore

Gently caressing the sand

With certain demand

Leaving remnants of passion to adore

Your love is like the endless tides

Eversteady as they flow

Raging and hurling with all their might

Yet as calm as an unknowing doe

As bright as the stars in the midnight sky

As fierce as the darkest storm

Bursting desires' flash of light

Lingering its' purest form

Your love to me is the breath in my heart

The whisper upon my skin

The whirling wind through the air

The day that hath no end

Thus as the calm before the storm

As the waves caress the sand

Anticipation will set afire

A love that has just began

Extensions of Life

Raging the drops of clarity
Seemingly always escaping me
It is simple how these tears
Forever entice me
Yet complex is all that seems to exceed reality
In the blink of an eye
These shadows they fly
In darkened uncertainty
Shall all this blindly represent our own mortality
Fantasies enveloped
Dreams become lost
All this because intentions turn to naught
Is this what we dare to grieve
All this just because we dared not to believe

Defining Moments
